Pick up the phone. It's a person-to-person relationship. The best way to know if you have a "good fit" with your trusted real estate advisor is to hear them talk. It may sound funny, but it's true. We make our decisions by judging each other's language, tone, accent, inflection, and energy. Do you need a compassionate voice? Do you understand better when the other person speaks slowly? Does it bother you if that person speaks too fast or in legalese?
There are a few introductory questions you can ask. How long have you had your license? Are you a Realtor? Is this your full-time profession? Can you tell me the steps you'd take to bring me to closing? Then listen. Let the conversation flow. You'll want to know the answer to your big question: "What will using a Realtor do for me?!"
